The property is a great virgin rural ranch consisting in 2 areas; the first one “Pinico 1” of 1381 Hectares (3256.85 Acres) and “Pinico 2” of 3582 Hectares (8851 Acres) in the Provence of Dalcahue, in Chiloe Island a paradise ready to be discovered and preserve. Puerto Montt is only minutes away by Helicopter, or you can reach its boundaries after a hike of 1500 meters throw a dense and wild native majestic forest.
The property borders with 2 magnificent Rivers: Rio Refugio and Rio Coluco giving a unique scenery full of islands and river beaches. It has no direct access by land, the closets gravel road is 1500 mts from its boundary. The topography varies enourmesly, depending on the area, you can find from steep gorgeous mountains covered by forests to plane riverbanks with incredible beaches. Mature native trees form a dense jungle of precious views that has never been exploited, the brushwood underneath is also dense as all Patagonian rainforests. Ever green majestic views all around you.
The Flora of the area is diverse, majestic and wild, it belongs to a type of evergreen forest, with species such as Coigüe de Chiloé (Chiloe Oak), Tepu (Tupualia stipularis), Canelo (Drimys winterii), Avellano (Gevuina avellana) and many more in the dominant stratum. In the condominants there are Mañio, Arrayán, Luma and Meli all endemic to this southern chilean territory. In the undergrowth (sotobosque) there is hard firewood, myrtle, chilco, murtilla. The floor is covered with moss, ferns and epiphytes, among others. There are also formations of pure forests of larch, Cypress of the Guaitecas, lenga and Canelo. Ferns are presented in abundance and chaura.
Many species of fauna are found and be seeing in wild. Beautiful birds like Yeco, Albatross, Quetro duck, Caiquenes and Pelican, Chilean flamingo, among many others. The variety of Mammals like the Chilote Fox, the Vizcacha, Coipo, mountain monkey and Pudú.
