Puerto Chacabuco is the main port of the Aysen Region, a key place for the connectivity to the Chilean Patagonia. This place was discovered in a hydrographic expedition carried out by the corvette Chacabuco, under the command of Captain Enrique Simpson in 1870.

Ferries departing from the cities of Puerto Montt, Castro and Quellón arrive at this port. You can board the ferry with your vehicle and get off in Puerto Cisnes to continue touring Patagonia.
After arriving at Puerto Chacabuco you must take a boat that takes 3 minutes to the plots.
From Balmaceda to the property there is a distance of approximately 134 kms, plus the three minutes of navigation. The road is 100% paved.

In Puerto Chacabuco you can find a gas station, ATM, family health center and stores.
Puerto Aysén is the second most populated city in the Aysén Region after Coyhaique and here it is possible to find a hospital, schools, airfield, bicycle shop, gas station, banks, vulcanization or rubber shop, Carabineros, Conaf.
In Coyhaique it is possible to find practically everything you need, since it is the main city of the Aysén Region.

  • Sailing to Laguna San Rafael National Park during the day from Puerto Chacabuco.

  • Visit the private park Aiken del Sur of 250 hectares where you can go trekking and climbing, among other activities (previous reservation).
